Summer Reading Registration is now live!
Events:
I've got events planned for the entire summer:
There is limited space available for Escape Rooms and the China plate project. By their nature, these events do not work well with large groups. Please do not register for these events unless you intend to participate, and if a conflict comes up and you will not be able to attend please let me know.
Flyers for July will be up by May 26.
Reading:
Reading logs will be done in the same ReaderZone app that we used last year. We log reading by time rather than titles, and ReaderZone logs by minutes. The ACPL Teen program will open for logging on June 1. The code to enter when registering is beefa. Yes, I laughed when it generated that code.
Prizes:
The platform will accrue points for every minute that you log reading. To qualify for prizes, you must both log your reading and attend at least 3 events over the course of the summer. Prizes will be awarded through three regular prize drawings, as well as one for the most points earned. Names will be drawn and prizes awarded at the final wrap-up party in July. All four are prize baskets based around a $50 Amazon gift card.
