The Art Circle Public Library Sustaining Fund is a charitable fund with the dedicated purpose of enhancing the long-term financial health of the Art Circle Public Library through investment income.

The operating principle of the fund it to annually pay out a portion of the fund's average balance to the designated beneficiary and retain any excess investment income to grow the fund for the beneficiary.

The fund is held by East Tennessee Foundation, a charitable, tax-exempt, non-profit, philanthropic institution which has produced an average annual total investment return of 8.3% for its beneficiaries since its inception in 1986.

== Donations to the Art Circle Public Library Sustaining Fund will help ensure the future of the Library.

== The goal of the fund is to provide a permanent source of investment income, while growing the fund at least as fast as inflation.

== The fund will allow the Library to enhance its services to the citizens of Cumberland County.

== All donations are tax deductible.
