In addition to the book store which sells slightly used books on a daily basis, the FOL also conducts a book sale in the spring and another in the fall. The book sales are a three-day event with the first day, Thursday, reserved for members of the FOL, including Business members, to purchase books. Friday and Saturday are open to the general public. Saturday is a special “grocery store bag of books for two dollars” day.
The spring and fall book sales are held in the Cumberland Room at the library. Check the Calendar of Events page for specific dates and hours of operation. In addition to a wide variety of books available, the sales also feature “bling” (gently used donated jewelry) and FOL members baked goods for purchase.
